	Chippendale Wardrobe (Nine Drawers) (Previous | Next)   This wardrobe was made for a couple with a c.1840 Greek Revival house, a lot of rooms and no closets. The cabinet is deep enough to hang clothes and the nine drawers in the chest are nearly 30" long providing considerable storage space. It was built in a knock-down fashion since it now resides in the upper hall at the top of a gracefully curving stairway.
