	Slant Front Desk (Previous | Next)   Slant front desks come in a variety of styles with time specific embellishments. The works of George Chippendale were the most imitated. The desk shown is a simple country design, in curly maple. It would have been common throughout the colonies and into the Ohio country from about 1750-1830. Options include interior cubbyhole and drawer arrangements, numbers of case drawers, lid supports, and the addition of a secretary top with glass or panel doors.   Size: 42" high, 36" wide and 21" deep.
