	Tall Desk with Secretary (Previous | Next)   Tall desks were common from the late 18th to the middle of the 19th centuries. Frequently known as schoolmaster or standing desks they were found in a wide variety of social and economic settings. Design alternatives include drawers; internal dividers in the well, secretary with paneled or glass doors.
